The Leatherman Legend
Starting before the Civil War, a man wearing a head-to-toe leather suit walked a 365-mile circuit between the Connecticut and Hudson rivers, sleeping in caves and completing his journey every time in precisely 34 days. Historians don't know who he was, or why he lived as a solitary vagabond who rarely spoke, but the legend of the Old Leatherman still fascinates.
